Out of Empty Space, Momo, Okarun, and Aira flee the hallway in their underwear. Aira tells Momo that her Acrobatic Silky abilities surfaced mid-fight, and Okarun warns aliens may now target her. Alone, Okarun admits he was secretly training to impress Momo.
Once the Serpo Dover Demon Nessie is beaten, Momo and Okarun slip out of Empty Space and feel solid floor again, only for relief to curdle into shame: the whole class spots them standing in their underwear in the hallway, and the pair plus Aira bolt in a panic. Hauled before the school nurse, the three are left alone once a call pulls her away. Momo hears from Aira that the powers of Acrobatic Silky stirred to life in her mid-brawl, which she chalks up to carrying the yokai's aura. Okarun warns this likely marks her as alien prey too, since he suspects they hunt anyone holding yokai abilities to advance their technology, perhaps linked to his missing kintama. More bothered by the embarrassment, Momo lets Aira pin the scene on her rather than invent fresh excuses, and Aira leaves with her friends. Alone with Okarun afterward, Momo presses him about Aira; he admits he toppled onto her after shoving away her attempt at a kiss, and confesses he had been training in secret to look cool for Momo. She finds it hilarious, teasing him to keep explaining until he grows too flustered, vows not to blame the mess on her, and prepares to go, with Momo looking eager to answer back.
Empty Space collapses and the trio ends up dashing through school nearly bare in full view. The Queen shelters them in her infirmary. Okarun guesses aliens cannot conquer Earth without beating the yokai, so they must test special humans to gain the technology they need. Momo shoulders the blame as Aira's friends walk her back to class. Okarun lays out what truly occurred behind the school and why, leaving Momo flustered.
