Summary

Pinned with her thermos out of reach, Momo shoves at the Evil Eye with her powers, but the spirit collapses the Cursed House inward and seizes her throat. She spits the hot water she had been sipping straight at it, forcing it down and leaving Jiji shocked at having hurt her. Okarun pushes Jiji aside to check on Momo, and Seiko, handing him a towel, assures him the incident was not his fault. That night Aira apologizes for triggering the attack and pledges more caution, but Momo holds nothing against her.

In private, Manjiro tells Seiko he intends to rehire the Hayashi, doubting the coexistence plan after the latest scare, and a disappointed Seiko reluctantly agrees.
