Okarun finally masters Turbo Granny's speed and outduels the Evil Eye, then refuses a rematch unless the yokai grows stronger. The bizarre standoff ends with a weekly fight pact, cursed underwear, and Jiji regaining his body.
Having learned to steer the borrowed velocity inside him, Okarun seizes the advantage over the Evil Eye and finishes the clash with an all-out headbutt that hurls the spirit away, the effort draining his transformed state. The yokai shrugs off the blow and, thrilled, begs his rival to change again so the brawl can keep going. Aira and Momo worry that Okarun has nothing left, yet he waves everyone off and flatly declares the Evil Eye too feeble to be worth his time.
Stung by the insult, the spirit listens as Okarun lays out a strange bargain: he will only face him once the yokai becomes powerful enough to be his single, weekly opponent. Turbo Granny quietly tells Momo that this whole gambit exists to make Okarun the Evil Eye's only target, sparing everyone else. Sealing the deal, the spirit hands over his underwear while warning that the garments have a will of their own, and that he relishes the thought of one day killing his playmate.
The pact struck, the Evil Eye surrenders Jiji's body back to him until their next meeting. Okarun reassures the shaken boy that the danger has passed and a normal life awaits him. The moment turns comedic as Jiji finds himself stark naked, prompting Momo, Aira, and Hana to look away while Seiko tosses out a dry quip.
Okarun matches the Evil Eye's pace, slips into his demonic state, and launches the spirit into the Ayase home with enough force to flatten it. The yokai survives and moves to restart the fight against the now-powerless Okarun.
Refusing, Okarun goads the spirit by branding him weak, then traps him in an agreement to spar only on Tuesdays and to stop killing, turning himself into the creature's designated playmate. The Evil Eye consents but passes along his sentient briefs, which reject the terms. He then willingly returns control to a tearful, grateful Jiji.
This installment closes out the rematch between Okarun and the Evil Eye and falls within the Evil Eye Arc, part of the Kintama Hunt Saga. It runs in Volume 8 and was adapted into Episode 21 of the anime.

The transformation everyone knows, the follow-up question nobody would touch. Why we made a smooth R&B track about the golden glow Dragon Ball never talks about....
