With the threat over, Jiji heads home and the group disperses, leaving Momo and Seiko to face their wrecked, money-drained household. Help arrives in the form of an alien construction expert and his shape-shifting nanoskin.
Manjiro carries off the Evil Eye's cursed underwear to lock it away at his shrine, with Seiko urging caution and a call if trouble starts. Momo promises to drop by again but suggests he find a genuine Tsuchinoko to enshrine, while Manjiro can only commit to becoming a Sleeping Bag Bootuber, a notion Momo finds odd. Jiji's parents thank Seiko, who surprises Okarun and Aira by humbly apologizing for the home she gave the boy. Before departing with his family, Jiji apologizes to his friends and vows never to forget what he owes them. When Okarun's only parting words to Momo are a plain promise to see her tomorrow, she fishes for more, sparking a scuffle with Aira over the girl's clinginess. Once everyone leaves, Seiko proposes a bathhouse trip to dodge the ruined house, delighting Momo and Turbo Granny.
The walk home afterward turns sober as Seiko, despite being broke from the spa outing, insists they will simply rebuild. Momo, new to her part-time job, cannot offer cash, and Seiko brushes off her help anyway, irritating her. The two grow gloomy over their lost belongings until they reach the torii gate and spot an alien standing there, whom they instantly boot away for trespassing. Okarun then calls out, arriving with Aira, Mantisian, and Chiquitita, and explains the visitor is Ludris, a building specialist Mantisian brought along. Momo apologizes for the kick, which an offended Ludris answers with anger, though Mantisian insists the reaction signals honor. Seiko reluctantly accepts the offer, and the crew is shown Ludris's nanoskin, a material that takes any shape its user imagines, which they use to reconstruct the Ayase home.
Manjiro leaves to seal the sentient briefs inside the Tsuchinoko Shrine, and Jiji's parents take their son home after thanking Seiko. Aira and Okarun depart as well, with Momo teasing a goodbye out of Okarun and annoying Aira.
Seiko, Momo, Turbo Granny, and Hana enjoy a spa trip, then return to meet the alien Ludris, whom they kick before learning he is the construction expert Mantisian summoned at Okarun and Aira's request. Using nanoskin that reshapes itself based on imagination, the group rebuilds the house overnight.
The chapter sits in the Evil Eye Arc within the Kintama Hunt Saga and introduces Ludris and his nanoskin technology. It appears in Volume 8 and was adapted as part of anime Episode 21.
