Kinta's antics unleash the Evil Eye, who races off thinking it is a fight day. Meanwhile Okarun burns his last power saving Aira, and back home he spots the nanoskin walls and conceives a plan to topple the kaiju.
Carried off by Jiji, the classmate frets over the unfolding disaster. Worried about triggering the Evil Eye, Jiji begs Kinta not to drip sweat on him, but Kinta reads this as vanity and deliberately flings his sweat, forcing Jiji to drop him to keep the yokai contained. The spirit emerges anyway under the continued assault and starts to abandon Kinta, until the mention of Momo and the meeting at her house grabs its interest. Believing the time to battle Okarun has arrived, the Evil Eye dashes off in excitement, with Kinta chasing after to avoid being stranded alone.
Okarun rushes to shield Aira from another direct hit, but spending the last of his strength reverts him to normal. Momo snags the falling pair with her powers and ferries them home, where she discovers Aira faked unconsciousness to keep clinging to Okarun and angrily drops them for wearing her out. The group is then stunned by the Evil Eye's arrival. Okarun reminds the yokai that today is not a scheduled fight, which scuttles Momo's hope of recruiting it because of the spirit's vow to face only Okarun. As Momo agonizes over their predicament, Okarun notices the walls glowing from the nanoskin the house is built from and tells her he has thought of a way to use it against the kaiju.
Because Jiji asks Kinta not to sweat on him, the classmate assumes he is posturing and smears his snot on him on purpose. The Evil Eye takes over and, certain it is a fighting day, charges eagerly to the Ayase residence.
Okarun goes all-out to rescue Aira before she is finished, undoing his transformation, and both are saved by Momo as they retreat home. The group refuses to ask the Evil Eye for help against the kaiju, fearing it might twist the deal later, and Okarun proposes using the nanoskin house to win.
The chapter continues the Kaiju Arc of the Kintama Hunt Saga and seeds the nanoskin-mecha idea. It appears in Volume 8 and was adapted into anime Episode 23.

The transformation everyone knows, the follow-up question nobody would touch. Why we made a smooth R&B track about the golden glow Dragon Ball never talks about....

Five Bleach female characters, ranked and settled. Yoruichi sits at number five, the spot nobody expects, and our number one is an Arrancar with a soft heart....
