Summary

Okarun assures Momo the creature is no spirit but a kaiju. Momo realizes the kintama it carried while invisible has vanished and suggests climbing down to look while it stays still. The plan collapses when the beast swells to enormous size and peers in through the shattered wall. Fleeing in terror, Okarun and Momo notice the darkening sky and conclude the kaiju is an alien, struggling to find a way to beat it. The two and their classmate cross paths with Aira and Jiji, both shaken by the towering monster. When the classmate trips and nearly gets stomped, Momo, Aira, and Okarun save him, and Momo orders Jiji to carry him somewhere safe.

Aira flings a car into the kaiju's skull with her Acrobatic Silky hair and tells Momo to target its legs. While Okarun carries her in Turbo Granny form, Momo channels her psychic powers to launch a car toward one of its legs, but the kaiju shrugs it off and slams its fist down on Aira and a building, horrifying the pair.

Key Events

The kaiju transforms and balloons in size, smashing the building around them. Escaping, they deduce the Empty Space has descended over Kamigoe City, confirming it as a space kaiju. Jiji and Aira are also pulled in and reunite on foot with the fleeing trio. Kinta stumbles, so Momo, Okarun, and Aira work together to save him. Momo has Jiji rush Kinta to safety while they fight, planning to regroup at her house later. The clash between Momo, Okarun, and Aira against Bamora in its Exosuit unfolds, but they barely dent the alien before a distracted Aira is smashed into a building.
