Summary

Startled to find a Serpo at her side, Momo accepts an iron pressed into her hand and the strange request that they crush the clones' skulls between two of the tools. She has no time to refuse, since the duplicates are already rushing in. Smashing one head between the irons flips that clone back into a Serpo, gaining the pair an ally who repels the rest with psychokinesis. The friendly Serpo explains that the clones are his own kind, their data rewritten into other shapes by an unknown party that plundered the Serpo's belongings.

Key Events

Repeating the iron trick during the brawl, Momo and the Serpo steadily restore the rewritten army to its original form. Momo then spots a hulking alien, Imotako, clinging to the ceiling and points it out to a Serpo, whose psychic strike sails clean through without landing. The creature retaliates by seizing control of the Serpo to turn them on Momo. Two allies break one free, but Imotako hijacks the others and reaches for Momo as well. Her thrown chair phases right through the target, proving ordinary attacks are useless. A Serpo clarifies that Imotako assaults from another dimension that grants both reach and invulnerability inside the Empty Space, and that only her paranormal power can pierce that realm, so she must focus on the beast while the Serpo hold off the converted ranks.
