Mantisian steps in to wake Momo and Jiji for their session, and Momo thanks Jiji for helping her drift off. Okarun, ignored entirely, trails them outside and is shocked to find the whole group has relocated. Having put in her own training, Aira chides the pair for sleeping late and needles them over cuddling, a claim Momo denies. Okarun fails again to catch Aira's eye, yet picks up the situation by listening to her talk with Momo.

Conscious that the world is under threat of conquest, Okarun fixes on returning to his body and calls out for Seiko and Turbo Granny. The realization that they are off in Hokkaido leaves him at a loss for how to manage without them. Then the house phone rings, and answering it whisks him off to join Seiko and Turbo Granny as they battle a yokai.

With Momo not answering, Seiko tells Turbo Granny to record a message, and when she hears Okarun's voice without seeing him, she uses a hand scope to spot him and grasps how grave the group's plight has become. Wanting the fight over, she sets off a talisman that detonates through charm nails ringed around the yokai, destroying it, then thanks the land's god for the borrowed power.
