Summary

Ambushed by suited aliens who saw their arrival coming, Aira and Mantisian meet the threat head-on. Carrying the Serpo, Momo is urged by Aira to push ahead and stop more ships from crossing the gate, a tall order when their trio can barely down a single foe. The Serpo agrees, warning that stalling hands the enemy's main force an opening. Aira gives a heads-up that the sniper suit alien has Momo in his sights, and Jiji rescues her with a ki strike. As the two tell Momo to keep moving, Aira fumes that the so-called leader will not lead and bluffs about a 'Plan B' that, as Jiji learns, never existed.
