Summary

Tengen's three wives, all trained shinobi, were sent into the district to gather intelligence on a demon before contact with them was lost. To investigate without alarming their quarry, Tanjiro, Zenitsu, and Inosuke disguise themselves as women and take positions inside the houses of the quarter.

Their search reveals Daki, a demon hiding among the courtesans, who is soon joined by her brother Gyutaro. The two prove to be a single Upper Rank that must be killed simultaneously, decapitating both at once, which forces the slayers and Tengen into a desperate coordinated battle that pushes each of them to their limit.

Aftermath

Through combined effort the demon siblings are finally slain together, marking the first Upper Rank Kizuki to fall in the modern era of the Corps. The cost is steep, with severe injuries inflicted on the young slayers and on Tengen himself.

The victory is celebrated as a major milestone for the Demon Slayer Corps, proving that the strongest of Muzan's servants can be brought down. Tengen's injuries lead to his eventual retirement from active duty as a Hashira.
