Personality

Hinaki is reserved by nature, yet kind and devoted to her responsibilities. Her brother Kiriya considers her cleverer and more capable than himself. She loves her parents deeply and stays loyal to them to the very end, choosing to die at their side.

In her last moments she shows no fear of Muzan Kibutsuji breaking into the family home, instead calmly playing and singing with her twin as she accepts what is coming.

History

Born as the eldest of the Ubuyashiki quintuplets, Hinaki and Nichika frequently assist their parents, carrying out duties with great dedication. On one occasion she accompanies her mother to meet Muichiro Tokito, a boy descended from past slayers who has just survived a demon attack that killed his twin brother. Hinaki sadly notes that the brother's body has already begun to decay, while Muichiro is saved and brought back to recover.

During Tanjiro's hearing before the Hashira, she reads aloud a letter from Sakonji Urokodaki urging that Nezuko be spared. In the final confrontation with Muzan, Hinaki and Nichika act as decoys, playing with a paper balloon and singing so the demon believes only the family is present, allowing Kagaya to spring an explosive trap. She is later mourned by her surviving sister Kanata.
