Personality

Little is detailed about her temperament, but she is loyal and devoted to her duties as her father's assistant. Kiriya regards her as more capable than himself. She once worried over Muichiro Tokito when he trained recklessly despite barely surviving a demon attack, though her mother kept her from interfering.

In her final moments she shows no fear of Muzan entering the family home, calmly playing and singing with her sister as she accepts what is coming.

History

Born to Kagaya and Amane, Nichika and her elder sister Hinaki frequently acted as their parents' assistants, following orders with great commitment. The two accompanied their mother to meet the gravely wounded boy Muichiro Tokito, a suspected descendant of past slayers.

She stands beside her father through key moments, from dispatching the Hashira to Mount Natagumo to assisting him at the meeting where the Kamado siblings are pardoned. During Muzan's assault on the Corps, Nichika and Hinaki serve as decoys, playing with a paper balloon and singing to lull the Demon King into believing only the family is present. The ruse holds until Kagaya sets off a buried explosive, giving up his own life and his family's to leave Muzan dazed for the waiting Hashira. Her youngest sister Kanata mourns her afterward.
