Personality

Like his siblings, Hiroshi is a warm and caring child. When his mother fails to return home one night, he worries for her safety and insists on staying awake until she arrives, then hurries to greet her at the door.

History

Hiroshi is born to Kyogo and Shizu Shinazugawa as one of seven children, the eldest two being Sanemi and Genya. Their father is brutally abusive, and Hiroshi is often shielded from his rages by their mother. Kyogo later dies violently after being stabbed in a feud.

One night their mother is unusually late returning home. While Sanemi goes out searching and Genya stays to watch the younger children, a knock comes at the door. Genya cautions them that whoever stands beyond the door might not be their mother at all, but the door is forced open anyway. She has been transformed into a demon, and she kills Hiroshi and his siblings at once. Years later, after Muzan's defeat, Sanemi glimpses Hiroshi among their family in the afterlife. The events are shown in Chapter 115 and Episode 50.
