Appearance

Her transformed look closely echoed Rui's, with the same chalk-white skin, teal lashes and nails, and round red marks on her face. She had a short, curved figure, heavy eyebrows, and long white hair split down the middle and bound with teal beads into two thick locks. She wore a layered kimono, maroon beneath and white on top, tied with a patterned obi, along with a strand of teal and purple beads and decorative anklets. Like most of the family she went barefoot.

Before she drank Rui's blood she looked entirely different. Her earlier body was small and childlike rather than full-figured, her cheeks bore twin maroon lines, and her rounder eyes held yellow irises with crossed pupils. Her black hair was short, parted to one side with framing bangs and two low pigtails.

Personality

Like most demons she was cold and murderous toward humans, manipulating dozens of Slayers into killing one another and showing no concern for the drawn-out suffering she caused. Living among the false family, however, left her terrified of both Rui and the demon playing her husband, who beat her for failing to meet their expectations. The torment grew so heavy that she came to welcome death over an endless existence of cruelty.

She was in truth the youngest demon of the group, her original form being that of a girl, and she still wrestled with the human feelings and memories she could not let go. She wept often when they surfaced, which drew harsh rebuke from Rui. In her final moments those memories returned, and she was moved by Tanjiro's gentleness, warning him that a member of the Twelve Kizuki waited on the mountain before she faded.

Abilities

She was a notably strong demon, far beyond the average and a serious hazard to anyone climbing Mount Natagumo. Her webs and countless spiders turned the whole forest into her trap, and because she sat hidden at its center her position was nearly impossible to locate; only Inosuke's keen sense of touch managed to find her. In a straight fight she was helpless, relying entirely on her puppets.

Her core power was a thread-based puppetry. She spun silk from her fingertips that could cover the entire mountain, then attached the strands to victims using small spiders so she could move their bodies like marionettes from afar, even dragging the maximum physical output from a puppet at the cost of agonizing strain on it. She could animate corpses the same way, preserving a dead demon's body for battle, and the closer her targets the firmer her control. Her regeneration let her recover from severe wounds in moments, and a drop of Muzan's blood granted flesh manipulation, though her unstable emotions kept reverting her to her younger shape.
