Personality

Yahaba is devoted to Muzan and craves his approval along with a place among the Twelve Kizuki. Though sadistic, he prefers to act with a certain refinement, disliking his partner Susamaru's childish behavior and recoiling at the thought of getting dirty. Even as he dies, his single regret is failing to earn Muzan's recognition, and his final wish is to take Tanjiro down with him out of spite.

Abilities

Yahaba is a capable demon whose unusual Blood Demon Art makes him a difficult opponent. By manipulating his own flesh he transplants his eyes into his palms, granting him sharpened tracking that lets him follow footprints and incoming attacks with precision.

His central technique, the Koketsu Arrow, lets him conjure and steer invisible red arrows by blinking the eyes in his hands. He can summon them in great numbers and aim them in any direction, and though intangible, they exert force on whatever they point toward, dragging targets along their path. Paired with Susamaru's temari, his arrows can flush hidden enemies into the open. He directs the assault from the trees during the battle at Tamayo's home before Tanjiro corners him and beheads him with a Water Breathing form. As he disintegrates, he plants arrows around Tanjiro from every angle in a final attempt to kill him. Yahaba debuts in Chapter 14 and Episode 8.
