Yoshioka

Yoshioka is a man with short hair, short bushy eyebrows resembling those of Takeuchi, and a notably round nose.

Little is established about Yoshioka's character, though he openly admires the skill of the Hashira. He shares the view, voiced by several trainees, that the current Hashira lack successors because the grueling training has scared candidates away. Even so, he stays the course, and he is warm enough to praise Tanjiro's cooking, moved to tears by his grilled rice balls.

Yoshioka first appears during the Hashira Training Arc, enduring Gyomei Himejima's muscle-amplification regimen beneath a waterfall alongside Inosuke, Nagakura, and Shimamoto. He is later seen sharing a meal of fish with Murata and Tanjiro, taking part in the conversation about why the Hashira have no apprentices.

His ultimate fate is left uncertain. If he was among the many slayers drawn into the Infinity Castle during the final battle, he may have fallen to the demons within or to Muzan himself. When confronting Muzan, Inosuke grieves for the comrades he had shared meals with, a description that could include Yoshioka. He is presumed to possess above-average ability given that he reaches the final stage of Hashira Training without quitting. Yoshioka debuts in Chapter 133 and Episode 60.
