Kagaya's Death and Foresight

Kagaya passes at the age of 23, his illness having left him bedridden, though he had visited the graves of fallen slayers daily until then. Gyomei recalls first meeting him as a fourteen-year-old who instantly recognized Gyomei's innocence in the death he was accused of causing. In their last private talk, Kagaya predicted Muzan would arrive within five days and asked Gyomei to strike the killing blow while he himself acted as bait, explaining that the Ubuyashiki line possesses an instinctive foresight. He made the Stone Hashira swear to keep his children safe.

The Joint Assault

Gyomei beheads Muzan with Tamayo's help, but as Kagaya foresaw, the demon regenerates his head completely. Gyomei recalls that only sunlight can kill him and, listening to the demon mend, judges his regeneration to outstrip every demon he has ever fought. He vows to restrain him until dawn, deflecting a Black Blood, Brambles attack with Stone Breathing. Sanemi and the other Hashira arrive, calling out for Kagaya, and Gyomei announces they now face Muzan himself.

Each Hashira unleashes their style, and Tanjiro adds a Sun Breathing strike, all of them closing in at once. Muzan responds only with an eerie smile. Giant doors then open beneath the slayers, dropping them all into the Infinity Castle. Muzan declares they will fall into hell, and Tanjiro answers that the demon is the only one bound for it, vowing to kill him.
