Summary

Shinobu arranges for Tanjiro to recover at her mansion, but before he is carried off he interrupts Kagaya to demand more headbutts for Sanemi, one for every stab. Muichiro pelts him with pebbles to silence him, and the embarrassed Kakushi apologize. As Tanjiro is taken away, the master asks him to pass along his regards to Tamayo.

At the Butterfly Mansion, Tanjiro encounters Kanao Tsuyuri, a highly skilled successor trained by a Hashira, and recognizes her from Final Selection. Inside the infirmary he reunites with Zenitsu, who complains bitterly about his treatment, and with Inosuke, whose ruined throat has left him uncharacteristically quiet.

The injuries of all four are tallied, and over time they heal. Murata, who escaped with only a jammed finger, visits and recounts how the Hashira grilled him over the Corps' declining quality. Shinobu then arrives to announce the start of Rehabilitation Training.
