The 90th chapter of the manga. Hinatsuru's poisoned darts weaken Gyutaro as the slayers try to behead him. After the demon captures Hinatsuru, Tanjiro saves her with Water Breathing, and Tengen moves in to strike Gyutaro's neck.
It comes to light that Hinatsuru's kunai darts carry a poison able to leave a demon paralyzed for roughly half a day, or stop a Lower Rank entirely. From a rooftop she pleads for the poison to hold even briefly as the slayers try to decapitate Gyutaro, but the demon regrows his legs and attacks at close range. He unleashes blood scythes with his Rotating Circular Slashes, and Tengen throws Tanjiro clear before deflecting the attack with a Sound Breathing form, only to find Gyutaro has vanished.
To his horror, Tengen sees Gyutaro on the roof, about to kill the captured Hinatsuru. The obi of Daki bars his path to her, and he recalls Hinatsuru once asking to retire after the mission and to harbor no regrets if any of them died. Yelling at Gyutaro to stop, Tengen pushes through while Tanjiro attempts a Hinokami Kagura move, only for his body to fail him.
Switching tactics, Tanjiro uses a Water Breathing form to pull Hinatsuru away from Gyutaro in time. Realizing he can boost his power, Tanjiro combines Water Breathing with the Hinokami Kagura, surprising Gyutaro, who charges him. At that moment, Tengen comes up behind the demon and swings at his neck, openly admitting that he owes Tanjiro.
The chapter shows the slayers gaining ground against Gyutaro through Hinatsuru's poison and coordinated attacks. Tanjiro's rescue of Hinatsuru and his blending of two breathing styles, followed by Tengen's strike at the demon's neck, mark a decisive push in the battle against the sibling Upper Ranks.

Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle earned $778 million globally and nearly 40 billion yen in Japan, but it still couldn't top Mugen Train's domestic record. Here's why that barely matters....

The transformation everyone knows, the follow-up question nobody would touch. Why we made a smooth R&B track about the golden glow Dragon Ball never talks about....
