Erika Harlacher

Harlacher voices Shinobu Kocho in the English dub of "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba" (studio Ufotable). As the Insect Hashira, Shinobu is one of the most recognizable members of the Demon Slayer Corps, and the role sits comfortably within Harlacher's catalogue of poised, complex female characters. It adds a high-profile Ufotable production to a resume already filled with prominent anime heroines.

Active in English dubbing since 2011, Harlacher has built a long list of leading anime credits. Her major roles include Ami Kawashima in "Toradora!", Mimori Togo in "Yuki Yuna is a Hero", Asseylum Vers Allusia in "Aldnoah.Zero", Elizabeth Liones in "The Seven Deadly Sins", Kurapika in "Hunter × Hunter", the title character of "Violet Evergarden", and Yumeko Jabami in "Kakegurui – Compulsive Gambler". The range spans gentle dramatic leads and sharp, unpredictable personalities.

Harlacher is also a prolific video game performer and a singer and songwriter. Her game credits include Kyoko Kirigiri and Kaede Akamatsu in the "Danganronpa" series, Venti and Istaroth in "Genshin Impact", Ann Takamaki in "Persona 5", Juna Crawford in "The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel III" and "IV", Ayesha in "Atelier Ayesha: The Alchemist of Dusk", and parts in "Final Fantasy VII Remake", "Secret of Mana", and "Ys IX: Monstrum Nox".
