Viviano Westwood

Broad and heavily built, Westwood has a hard, square-jawed face and dark hair shaved into an undercut. During his fight a fellow guard's punch tears open the side of his mouth, leaving his gums and teeth exposed. He is dressed in the standard-issue guard uniform of Green Dolphin Street Prison.

Viviano enjoys tormenting the inmates in his charge and even wagers with other guards while doing it, convinced that prisoners are the dregs of society. Years of restraining convicts have made him skilled at locks and holds that keep a struggling opponent pinned, a trade he plies with obvious relish.

Viviano had worked the prison for three years, having transferred from a Miami customs post, and is thought to have gained his Stand around the time the Green Baby was born. In Stone Ocean he oversees Jolyne after her move to the punishment ward and storms into her cell brandishing a floodlight to settle a bet, hosing her down until a splash back onto himself sparks a brawl. The Stand Survivor has turned everyone in the ward violently aggressive and able to spot one another's weak points; Viviano frees the other prisoners and rounds on Jolyne. She knocks him unconscious, yet the moment she steps nearer her arm is abruptly wounded, and he reveals a Stand disc lodged in his head.

He repeatedly traps her in detainment holds and calls down meteorites with Planet Waves, whose fragments always scatter before they can strike him. Jolyne breaks each hold by threading string through his skull to loosen his grip, and finally defeats him by stealing one of his boots, positioning it in a meteor's path to knock him back, and following up with a headbutt from Stone Free.
