Appearance

Much of Sarada's look comes from her father, from the dark colour of her eyes to her black hair, which she keeps at shoulder length and parts to the right; her facial features are drawn largely from him as well. Red-framed glasses sit constantly on her face. In her Academy days she dressed in a vermilion jacket layered over a cream vest, beneath which sat a white shirt with a tall collar and a red tie, paired with a red skirt and dark boots.

As graduation neared she took up a red sleeveless qipao bearing the Uchiha crest, lilac shorts, dark purple stockings, and long arm warmers, wearing her forehead protector over her bangs. Three years later her hair is trimmed shorter and swept to the left in wavy strands. By then she favours earrings cut in the shape of the Uchiha crest, a dark choker, frameless glasses, and an oversized black jacket lined in red that she leaves open, often slung off one shoulder, with a plate bearing the Konoha emblem fixed to its front.

Personality

As a small child Sarada mirrored her father's guarded, unsmiling manner, but that shifted around her Academy graduation. Naruto reckons she now takes after her mother most, right down to a temper that flares hot and the shouted catchphrase Shannaro!. Away from her anger she is warm, courteous, and fiercely protective of the people she loves, unafraid to voice a blunt question or a firmly held opinion. Like Sakura she is bookish and self-possessed well beyond her years.

The long absences of Sasuke, kept away on a secret S-rank mission, gnawed at her, and vague answers from her mother eventually bred doubts about her own parentage. That suspicion nearly drove her from home until Naruto convinced her that family rests on how people feel for one another rather than on blood. Meeting her father at last, and hearing that she embodies the bond between her parents, settled her. Inspired by Naruto's Will of Fire, she resolves to become Hokage, wanting a role that lets her connect with as many others as she possibly can. Her tie to Boruto is a tangle of constant bickering and genuine closeness that later deepens into stronger feelings, while her worry for those she cares about can sometimes cloud her judgment.

Abilities

Born of mixed Uchiha and Haruno heritage, Sarada ranks as an elite genin praised for excelling at nearly everything and is widely tipped as a future Hokage. From her mother she inherited precise chakra control and the knack of packing that chakra into monstrous strength, letting her crater the ground or hurl heavy structures with a single blow. Her clan heritage shows in her ninjutsu: shurikenjutsu is her specialty, and she commands fire, lightning, wind, and Yin Release, having picked up her father's Great Fireball, Phoenix Sage Fire, and Chidori. She has also trained in medical ninjutsu and cooperative sealing techniques.

Her Sharingan, first stirred as a girl and reawakened out of excitement at meeting Sasuke, matures to three tomoe that can magnify her sight down to the level of a virus and copy techniques on the spot. At twelve, anguish over Boruto's fate awakens her Mangekyo Sharingan, whose Ohirume conjures gravitational orbs able to pull a target in and crush it, though every use erodes her vision. A sharp analytical mind rounds out her arsenal, earning her chunin-level marks for leadership and battle reading while still young.
