Konoha reels after Naruto vanishes into another dimension alongside Jigen. Shikamaru locks down the Uzumaki home and casts suspicion on Kawaki, while Kara schemes over its next move. When Kawaki's artificial hand springs back to life, it becomes the sign that Naruto is still breathing.
The failure of Kawaki's prosthetic, which runs on Naruto's chakra, leaves him and the three young genin shaken. Shikamaru pins Kawaki with his shadow, orders a barrier raised around the house, and sends shinobi to hunt for any trace of Naruto or the attacker. Freed from the hold, Kawaki recounts how Jigen appeared out of nowhere after his seal flared, and the group concludes that a space-time jutsu carried Naruto off. Since Jigen wants Kawaki rather than Naruto, they reason Naruto was taken for shielding the boy, and that he is either still fighting or stranded after a victory.
Boruto suggests turning to Sasuke, but Shikamaru reveals he came back gravely hurt and unconscious, leaving his information out of reach for now. Distrustful of Kawaki and half-convinced he is a Kara plant, Shikamaru rules that the boy stay under house arrest until he can be cleared.
At Kara's base, Amado treats Jigen and estimates ten days for his chakra to recover. Jigen admits he sealed Naruto and got carried away pushing Kawaki's seal, which he links to a resonance with Boruto's. He envisions both boys maturing into mighty Otsutsuki and a God Tree draining the planet to grant every wish. He tells Code to guard the Ten-Tails and orders Boro to watch over Naruto's seal, while Boro presses the double agent Koji about his silence, only for Koji to keep his cover intact. When Kawaki's prosthetic suddenly works again, proving Naruto lives, he and Boruto tear open a portal like Jigen's; Kawaki absorbs Shikamaru's binding jutsu, and Mitsuki pulls the other two through after him.

Naruto vs Luffy with the twist nobody asked for: Luffy tickled Hinata on date night, and she kind of liked it. We break down the whole fight and commit to a winner....

Naruto built the transformation jutsu himself, and the Hidden Leaf has been quietly not talking about it ever since. The story behind our 90s R&B record about the Naruko question everybody dodges....
Adapted from chapter 39, the entry belongs to the Kawaki Arc of the Boruto anime. It premiered in Japan on 27 June 2021 and reached English audiences on 10 January 2023, paired with the opening BAKU and the ending Sign That You Were There.
In Proof, Konoha reacts to Naruto's disappearance after Jigen pulls him into another dimension, with Shikamaru placing Kawaki under house arrest on suspicion while Kara treats the injured Jigen, until Kawaki's prosthetic arm suddenly reactivates, proving Naruto is still alive.
Shikamaru is distrustful of Kawaki and suspects he might be a Kara plant, so he orders Kawaki confined to the house until he can be cleared, especially since Kawaki's prosthetic runs on Naruto's chakra and failed the moment Naruto vanished.
Kawaki's artificial arm, which is powered by Naruto's chakra, suddenly springs back to life partway through the episode, serving as proof that Naruto has survived wherever Jigen took him.
Jigen tells Code that he envisions both Kawaki and Boruto maturing into powerful Otsutsuki, imagining a God Tree draining the planet to grant every wish, which reveals the larger scheme behind his interest in the boys.
Proof is Boruto: Naruto Next Generations episode 205, part of the Kawaki Arc, adapting manga chapter 39.
