Summary

The last bout brings Boruto, Sarada, and Shinki together, and Shinki opens by striking at both Leaf genin at once. Watching from above, Kurotsuchi, Darui, and Chōjūrō debate whether the move signals recklessness or self-assurance. Sarada suggests she and Boruto team up, partly to avenge Mitsuki and partly to spare Konoha the embarrassment of losing two of its own before the Five Kage. Boruto's clones attack with explosive tags and Sarada answers with Fire Release, but Shinki shields himself with his iron sand, a technique Naruto compares to Gaara's. The same iron fists Shinki raised in defence then shatter Boruto's clones.

Studying the jutsu with her Sharingan, Sarada works out how Shinki commands it, and the pair combine their Lightning Release to disrupt his control. Shinki blocks the joint attack with one fist and grabs both of them, boasting until Boruto uses a clone to loosen the hold on Sarada. She breaks free and strikes while his hands are full, but Shinki forms iron wings that startle even Gaara and hunts Sarada using a mark placed on her, eventually knocking her out of the match. Enraged by Shinki's taunts, Boruto charges with lightning in hand and only pierces the iron sand once he unleashes Purple Electricity from his Kote, winning the fight. Naruto exposes the Scientific Ninja Tool and disqualifies his son, and as Katasuke starts promoting the Kote, Naruto senses Momoshiki and Kinshiki descending over the arena.
