Rei Jr.

Rei Jr. is very nearly a carbon copy of her mother, Rei Hino, the lone difference being a slight split in her fringe that exposes a sliver of forehead. Deep into the story, when the five girls at last transform, she is shown in a plain guardian sailor outfit, though the comic never spells out how its colors are supposed to look.

Her temperament runs cold and standoffish. She tags along with the other girls only because they happen to be the daughters of her mother's friends, and she clearly feels dragged into it, forever wishing she could just head home and take a nap instead.

Together with Ami Jr., Mako Kino, Mina Aino, and Kousagi Tsukino, she sits through cooking lessons led by Haruka Tenou, Michiru Kaiou, and Setsuna Meiou. She writes Kousagi off as a fool and, like the others, keeps her at arm's length, and she assumes the tiny pink cat that appears is simply a stray's kitten from the neighborhood. When rabbit invaders menace the planet, Rei Jr. changes into a nameless guardian to drive them back. She is anything but glad that Kousagi's plan of siccing the cats on the rabbits actually pays off, and she is thrown to find that her friends all lived through the very same dream.
