Hailed as humanity's strongest, the Hero of the South anchored humanity's defense against the Demon King's armies before Himmel's era. Gifted with sight into the future, he knew his death was coming and met it anyway, carving a path for the hero he foresaw would finish the war.
The Hero of the South had the look of a man in middle age, his brown hair neatly combed with a long fringe swept across the right of his face and a carefully trimmed mustache below. He favored a white button-up shirt and cravat under an ornate vest, with a long, light-brown coat marked by dark trim, a broad collar, and dark scrollwork down the sleeves. A pair of belts at his waist held his twin swords, his trousers tucked into dark boots, and a brown cloak hung from a corded clasp over the whole ensemble.
Calm and even-keeled, the Hero of the South let almost nothing rattle him, a steadiness rooted in his ability to glimpse what lay ahead. He greeted Frieren already braced for her refusal and shrugged it off without complaint. Knowing demons would one day kill him, he fought for humanity regardless, untroubled that another would claim the glory of felling the Demon King and that history might forget his name. He proclaimed himself the mightiest of all people with quiet certainty and faced his end without fear, sure it would not be wasted. Generations later the villagers of Fabel still honor his deeds, proof that even his foresight underrated the mark he would leave.
The Hero of the South earned his title as humankind's strongest through sheer force. Inside a single year he obliterated the Demon King's frontline forces and pushed to the far northern edge of the plateau that anchored the enemy's supply lines, prompting the Demon King to send Schlacht the Omniscient and the entire roster of the Seven Sages of Destruction against him. Set against eight enemies at once, he still cut down three of the Sages before he and Schlacht killed each other. In battle he fought with a longsword in each hand.
His true edge, though, was a hidden magic that let him see the future, the secret he credited for making him the strongest alive. His vision reached past his own death to Himmel's eventual triumph over the Demon King, and he seemed able to weigh more than one possible outcome, since he claimed to know how his talk with Frieren would end yet admitted he had no idea what might actually sway her. A year before he fell, he visited Frieren in her Central Lands forest and asked her to march against the Demon King; when she declined, he calmly foretold his own death on the northern plateau and assured her that a young hero would soon arrive to change her life and one day defeat the Demon King. He asked only that she pass word to that hero that humanity's strongest had cleared the road ahead. The Great Mage Serie, who knew of his gift, judged him the only person ever to turn a prophecy perfectly into fact.

The transformation everyone knows, the follow-up question nobody would touch. Why we made a smooth R&B track about the golden glow Dragon Ball never talks about....

Five Bleach female characters, ranked and settled. Yoruichi sits at number five, the spot nobody expects, and our number one is an Arrancar with a soft heart....
