With the demon Zart beaten, Frieren finally confesses to her old comrades that she has been flung back from a point more than eighty years ahead. The companions accept her startling claim and turn their efforts toward finding some means of sending her home, beginning a meandering search across the northern towns.
His enemy defeated, Himmel asks Frieren for the truth, and around the campfire she admits she has traveled here from a time more than eighty years in the future. Her strange conduct and the impossible skill she showed against Zart leave the group with little reason to doubt her. Setting out the next morning, the companions puzzle over the idea of a Frieren so far removed from them, and Heiter quietly observes that he and the others will likely be long gone by then, a thought she meets with a wistful agreement.
Heiter presses further, asking whether their band ever brings down the Demon King and whether they leave any trace on the historical record at all. Frieren cannot bring herself to answer, but Himmel cuts through the gloom, declaring that as the Party of Heroes they will press on regardless of how the tale ends.
Turning to the problem of her return, Frieren confesses she is at a loss, having already laid hands on the Goddess's Monument a second time to no effect. Heiter takes this in stride, reasoning that divine magic answers to forces none of them understand. The group resolves to invest whatever time it takes in the search, and Himmel sets their course for the closest town holding both a Mages' Guild and a Church.
Their hunt through Kino Pass yields nothing, and Heiter's drinking sidetracks them further. When Frieren apologizes for the burden she has become, Himmel waves it away, insisting that a steeper challenge only sweetens the journey, a trait of his she had long forgotten. That evening the companions probe the locals at a tavern, turning up no leads, while Heiter drinks heavily and Himmel cheerfully signs on to guard a passing merchant, proving once more his weakness for a good detour.
The 110th chapter reached print on April 4, 2023 and spans sixteen pages of the twelfth volume, part of the Goddess's Monument arc. Its action moves from Kino Pass to a town equipped with a Mages' Guild and a Church. The cover gathers Frieren, Himmel, Heiter, and Eisen, while the Demon King and the Hero of the South are mentioned in passing.

The transformation everyone knows, the follow-up question nobody would touch. Why we made a smooth R&B track about the golden glow Dragon Ball never talks about....

Five Bleach female characters, ranked and settled. Yoruichi sits at number five, the spot nobody expects, and our number one is an Arrancar with a soft heart....
