Summary

Studying the book on the Goddess's Monument, Frieren works out that the spell capable of sending her back is hidden within the scripture's Time-Traveling Bird passage, a section whose magic has never once been unraveled. Eisen floats the idea of simply letting the decades pass until her own era catches up, but Frieren makes clear she would sooner go home to the time she left behind.

Himmel settles it by vowing that, with the Demon King beaten, his companions will decode the cipher themselves and inscribe it on the Goddess's Monument, leaving it there for a Frieren yet to come. With that resolved, the group sets off again for the monument so she can attempt the spell.
