Isuzu walks out of Kagura's house without a word of explanation, and at the very same time Akito settles in at the seaside villa. With the family head suddenly among the gathered zodiac, everyone is left wondering what he is scheming.
Kagura invites Isuzu, known as Rin, to travel with her to the holiday house where the rest of the zodiac has gathered, Kyo included. Rin snaps that Kagura is only toying at love and leaves. Kagura's mother then warns her daughter off the trip entirely, revealing that Akito has gone there on Shigure's suggestion, and the news drives Kagura to smash the front door in a fit of temper. At the villa, Tohru turns over the previous night's talk with Yuki, whose words had been too faint to catch, while she and Kyo keep each other company as the others attend Akito in the annex.
Shigure prods Yuki about whether Akito upset him, and Yuki answers only that Akito told him the truth. When Haru takes his turn before Akito, he questions the decision to bring Kureno and calls it strange that Tohru has met almost every zodiac member but him, earning a mocking laugh and the jab "who wouldn't laugh at the stupid ox." Down on the sand, Kyo and Tohru build a castle until the five youngest members arrive and an overexcited Momiji hugs Tohru into his rabbit shape. Yuki apologizes for his rambling the night before, refusing to take back the kiss yet telling Tohru she may forget it, then seizes Kyo's collar with a warning to behave lest Akito hurt her. Kyo bristles, "you think you're better than me?", and Yuki simply replies, "I do."
The next day Akito heads toward the beach with Kureno, and both Hatori and Shigure sense he means to confront Tohru, whom he regards as a threat. He tells Kureno he may be permitted to meet her only if he starts acting like a proper zodiac member again rather than the inferior one he has become, and he speaks of Tohru with contempt, certain she deserves loneliness, before being stunned to hear she has been keeping company with Kyo.

Naruto vs Luffy with the twist nobody asked for: Luffy tickled Hinata on date night, and she kind of liked it. We break down the whole fight and commit to a winner....

There are no women on Namek. That isn't an oversight, it's the biology. Why we handed Piccolo the one thing his own species rules out, and why it had to be trap soul....
On the shore Kyo explains that his aversion to water comes from the cat spirit shared by all who carry it, and when Tohru asks about his bracelet he reveals it is fashioned from human bone with beads lacquered in blood, a life supposedly sacrificed to make it, a notion he despises since he cannot see his own worth as equal to that cost. Akito spots the two together and hurls slurs at Kyo, branding him a mother killer and a deluded monster. Later, chasing a wind-blown sheet, Tohru stumbles onto a horse that Yuki recognizes as Rin, worn down enough to transform, and Rin furiously threatens to kill him if he tells anyone, spitting that he is "Akito's little toy." The episode marks Tohru's first meeting with Isuzu, takes its title from one of Rin's lines, and adapts chapters 60 and 61.
