Kaho Tsuchiya

Kaho is a teenage girl of roughly average build and height with a slim frame and pale complexion. Her hair is shoulder-length and dark brown, cut with tidy bangs sitting flat against her forehead, and her eyes are wide and dark green. She dresses in the regulation Kunugigaoka uniform, paired with black socks pulled up to her knees.

Kaho likes to present herself as harmless fun, but underneath that she is disloyal and manipulative, obsessed with keeping her standing among her peers. When her own reputation is at risk she has no qualms about throwing others under the bus to protect herself, using whoever is convenient to escape blame.

Class 3-E comes across Hiroto Maehara spending time with Kaho, a well-known face from Class 3-C. When a pack of main-campus boys led by Tomoya Seo appears, she shoves Maehara away and fumbles an excuse. Maehara exposes the truth: Kaho had kept him on hand while stringing along her new boyfriend Seo, barely answering his calls and quietly changing her commute to avoid him. Rather than own it, she pins the fault on Maehara for landing in Class E and dismisses him as someone she will never have to see again once they graduate apart.

The exchange escalates as Seo kicks Maehara down and his group begins beating him, demanding an apology over the shared umbrellas. Tomohito Sugino nearly lunges in before Chairman Gakuho Asano halts everyone. Class 3-E gets its revenge afterward by spiking the tea of both Kaho and Seo with a laxative, sending the pair scrambling for a bathroom to their great embarrassment. Despite their venomous back-and-forth, Kaho and Seo stay together, and a school rumor holds that her affections have always gone unreturned. Her final appearance has her visiting Class E's festival restaurant alongside Kokona Tagawa.
