Masanori Tachibanada

Tachibanada worked as a background artist on Dragon Ball Z, one of the franchise's most visually demanding entries. Background artists create the painted environments, landscapes, and architectural elements that serve as the setting for character action. For a series like DBZ, this means designing everything from alien planets to Earth locations and sacred battlegrounds. Tachibanada also contributed background art to several other anime and the film Kuroi Ame ni Utarete.
