The Ashtanga serve as the battle craft of the Anti-Spiral, tasked with guarding their space and striking down Spiral peoples once the Mugann come up short. Each one takes the outline of a swollen thumb ringed by black arms and studded with several grey, Buddha-like faces, a green gem set in every forehead, save the central head that bears three. The name traces back to the Sanskrit roots Ashta and anga, meaning eight and parts, a nod to the eight limbs of Ashtanga Yoga.

These dreadnoughts field a probability negation shield, slip away into subspace, and unfold their many arms to hurl whole planets.
