Yukai

Dark red hair split into a pair of bangs frames Yukai's face above golden eyes. He sports a green vest, a white sash wound at the waist, and the Shinobi Alliance headband in white. A large scroll rides on his back on arm-mounted straps, just as with the rest of his squad, and Omoi has given him a yellow armband stamped with the Kumogakure emblem.

Young though he is, Yukai carries himself with courage and a steady hand as a leader, holding his nerve even when his unit is boxed in by close to two thousand White Zetsu clones and death looks assured. His regard for Omoi runs deep, and he addresses the elder fighter as onii-san.

Celebrated as a prodigy, Yukai earns clearance for the Fourth Shinobi World War, though he serves in supply rather than at the front. His swordsmanship already outstrips his age, and his grasp of Lightning Release lets him drive a fierce combined attack, the Thunder Bomb, which clears out a mass of White Zetsu with backing from his squad and Omoi.

Sent to the Seventh Front to shore up the battered Water Attack Raid Unit, his Thundercloud Unit ends up sealed inside a giant battlefield statue when the enemy stirs the poisonous red earth into a choking cloud. The members steel themselves and step out to meet the clones; Yukai is hurt in the melee until Omoi reaches his side, and their combined Thunder Bomb finishes off the last of the enemy.
