One of Edgar's thugs earns an odd footnote in spy history: his face becomes Twilight's disguise. Nguyen ambushes the master spy at home during the story's opening chapter, loses badly, and unwittingly supplies the identity used to walk straight into his boss's hideout and pull Anya Forger back out.
Nguyen appears from the very first chapter and episode, and his most consequential physical trait is simply that his face can be copied: Twilight reproduces his appearance closely enough to move through Edgar's organization without raising suspicion.
The series presents him purely as muscle. He carries out Edgar's orders without hesitation, joining a second underling in a surprise attack on a spy's residence, and nothing in his brief appearance suggests the caution or skill the job would actually require.
Acting on Edgar's instructions, Nguyen and a fellow subordinate ambush Twilight at his home and are swiftly beaten. Twilight then swaps identities with the defeated underling, wearing the borrowed face to slip inside the hideout and recover Anya. Yūji Murai voices him in Japanese, with Matthew David Rudd handling the English dub.
