Remi Ayasaki

Pink runs through nearly all of Remi's design, from the waist-length hair she pins into tall twin tails to the large, round eyes set beneath her fringe, with a couple of loose strands trailing down past her chin. She turns out in the school's standard winter set, a buttoned shirt under a grey sweater with a red bow, a navy blazer, black skirt, dark socks, and brown loafers, and like Hori she keeps a sleeves-rolled variant on hand.

Remi comes across as girlish and utterly transparent, the type who lets every feeling show and readily leans on others for a hand. Even so, matters of the heart bring out a steadier, more thoughtful version of her, and she can turn surprisingly perceptive whenever relationships are on the line. Book smarts are not her strength; she and Izumi Miyamura get half-jokingly weighed against each other for the title of bigger airhead. She also has the habit of referring to herself in the third person.

Beyond her council role, Remi is defined by a scattering of endearing habits. She stays after school for tutoring, loves losing herself in books and fairy tales above all, and shares Kakeru Sengoku's comic ineptitude in the kitchen. Her real passion is insects; her room brims with a collection large enough to earn the nickname Insect Queen, though dragonflies somehow get the better of her. On the Student Council she is more figurehead than worker, handling little of the actual labor. Further along the timeline she goes on to marry Kakeru, and the two have a daughter named Shizuru.
