Duke Hitsugisukan

Hitsugisukan is a towering sheep mink whose fleece grows white over black skin. Horns curve out from his head, and his face sports a bushy beard beneath a walrus-style mustache. His royal standing shows plainly in his attire, a dark monarch's robe topped with a crown.

Deeply versed in the customs of the Mokomo Dukedom, he held its traditions in high regard. His tenderness toward those he led was just as plain, since the news that Inuarashi and Nekomamushi had survived moved him to tears.

While he held the throne, Hitsugisukan commanded the dukedom's people, its sites, and its treasures, and he decided which visitors would be granted entry. Being a mink, he was a born combatant equipped with Electro, and the full moon could push him into the powerful Sulong state. Roughly three decades back, he led Inuarashi and Nekomamushi to the dukedom's hidden Road Poneglyph inside the Whale Tree and taught the pair how the Mink Tribe was bound to the Kouzuki Family, a lesson that sent them sailing toward Wano Country. Years afterward, when the Roger Pirates reached Zou, the duke received a note of introduction penned by Nekomamushi and Inuarashi; glad to learn the two were alive and well, he opened the way to the Whale Tree's Poneglyph for Roger's crew.
