Overview
With this command, Chibiusa directs her floating Luna-P sphere to morph into whatever item she pictures. She can invoke it not only while in her everyday form, but also as Sailor Chibi Moon and, during the R season, in her Black Lady guise.
Mechanics
To set the change in motion, Chibiusa dashes to the middle of the frame in front of a blue backdrop, dribbling Luna-P as though it were a basketball. The moment she speaks the phrase, the ball launches skyward and reforms into her chosen object inside a burst of pink smoke. When she has no more use for it, the same pink haze returns the ball to its ordinary state.
Notable Users
Chibiusa is the technique's owner, and she puts it to work in various ways: a bottle spiked with sleeping potion, an umbrella to hypnotize her adoptive Tsukino household, a flower bouquet for Ami, a gun in the R movie, and even the Luna P Extinguish variant. As Black Lady she twists the same ability toward malice, forming an umbrella that lashes out with Dark Power, an oversized fan to scatter Shabon Spray, and a giant badminton wrapped in an evil energy barrier. The move never featured in the manga, where Chibiusa and Sailor Pluto instead relied on a phrase called Abracadabra Pon. The DiC English dub renamed it Luna-Bot Transform or Luna Sphere, Kitty Magic.
