Fiona

Fiona is a young African American girl whose hair is worn in braided pigtails threaded through with orange beads.

Warm and cheerful, Fiona adores her parents and stays unspoiled even as fortune improves around her. Her sudden jump in status never changes the down-to-earth way she carries herself with other people.

Fiona was born to Titan and Vanessa and has coped since early childhood with a physical illness she manages through specific medications. In quieter moments she bonds closely with her father, sharing butterscotch ripple ice cream and watching Invincible hoist an elephant from their balcony, where she asks Titan whether the hero, and Titan himself, count as good people.

Hardship marks these early days. She collapses one afternoon near the Beckwell Community Center, and the family takes meals there. After Machine Head falls, Titan claims his penthouse, and Fiona happily learns it will be their new home. More than a year on, she has settled into a life of privilege, treated almost like royalty in the neighborhood yet still fully herself. She earns an A on a math quiz and joins a school cookie fundraiser, unknowingly selling her entire batch to the sinister Mister Liu. Once Titan grasps the danger, he keeps her home with Vanessa and, with help from Invincible and Machine Head, removes the threat so she can return to a peaceful routine.
