Gogglesvincible

The suit riffs on the classic blue-and-yellow Invincible design but changes almost every element. Its yellow is lighter, its blue darker than the usual cyan, and a black stripe runs down each side from the upper arm to the thigh. Gloves stretch up to the elbow and end in points, the feet finish in black, and the forehead sits bare. Most conspicuous of all are the outsized goggles, fitted with an added bridge over the nose that gives him his name.

He is a merciless, sadistic take on the hero, relishing the ruin and pain he deals out and breaking his foes down in mind as much as in body. What separates him from the pack of variants is his poise; rather than raging, he keeps himself icy and controlled, his flat, deliberate voice sharpening the menace he radiates.

Almost nothing is recorded of his past beyond two details: in his own reality he killed Rex Splode, and he knew Robot to be nothing but a swarm of drones run by a deformed human. His Viltrumite genes so dominate that he operates as a near-total Viltrumite, packing flight, crushing strength, blinding speed, near-invulnerability, and a strong healing factor. Angstrom Levy gathers him among the hostile Invincibles meant to launch the Invincible War against the main world.

He comes through Angstrom's portal with the rest and at once starts flattening everything within reach, then squares off inside Teen Team's base against Bulletproof, Monster Girl, Robot, and this world's Rex Splode. He hurts Monster Girl and Rex enough to sideline them and leaves Bulletproof barely coping, then shreds Robot's drones hunting for the pilot, thrown when the pilot proves to be a young teen instead of the mangled man he pictured. The rest fall back, leaving Rex to stall him.

Rex hurls all his explosives, scoring only slight damage and splitting one goggle. Barely bothered, Gogglesvincible grabs him by the throat and coldly vows to kill him and then run down the others. As a final gambit, Rex jams a hand into a gash on his own torso and triggers his complete endo-skeleton to blow. The blast is enormous and instantly finishes them both, giving Gogglesvincible time only for a shocked expression. His rampage left cities and entire nations in rubble with countless dead, and Rex's sacrifice weighed on the surviving heroes.
