Knockout

Knockout's defining feature is the pair of enchanted boxing gloves she wears, the source of her powers and the gear she cannot go into battle without. Beyond that equipment, the series offers little detail about her civilian look.

The show reveals little of her inner life, but her conduct during the Invincible War points to a cooperative, team-minded hero. She fights in step with allies such as Kid Thor and stays in the fray through prolonged, punishing combat without breaking away.

The gloves date back to the Great Depression, when a villain used them to match superhumans on even footing until Thor Man killed him during a bank robbery, a fatal blow landed only because one glove had slipped off and stripped away his borrowed durability. A bank guard pocketed the gloves and meant to sell them, but they stayed hidden in his home for decades until his granddaughter discovered them and asked after their story. He handed them over, and the young woman took up the name Knockout to fight crime, drawing the notice of the professional hero group Capes Inc. and joining their ranks. So long as she keeps them on, the gloves grant her enhanced strength, agility, and stamina alongside her own skill as a fighter, enough to harm both the mainstream Invincible and his variants.

During the Invincible War she stood with the heroes battling the alternate Invincibles, Movincihawk in particular, and even landed a knockout blow on the true Invincible. Early on, Capes Inc. mistook him for one of the evil doubles and fought him briefly before recognizing their error, and the group also joined the humanitarian effort to help those hurt in the attack's chaos.
