Marvin

Marvin has a large, drawn-out head lined with deep wrinkles and ridges that give him an ancient, thoughtful air. A single eye sits at the center of his face, and he has no visible nose, just a heavy brow above a broad mouth. Slight and delicate next to Allen, his frail build makes plain that he is a thinker rather than a warrior, with everything about his design pointing to the role of a scientist.

Marvin is fiercely devoted to his people. He has poured what remains of his life into the goal of overcoming the Viltrumites and securing the survival of the Unopans, treating that mission as his single guiding purpose.

Born on Unopa, Marvin saw his homeworld overrun by the Viltrumites, one of the galaxy's mightiest species, an invasion that pushed the Unopans to the brink of extinction. He and a handful of others managed to flee, abandoning their planet behind them. Determined to rebuild his species, he set up breeding camps across scattered Unopan outposts, and word of this effort drew powerful notice. Impressed by the Unopans' will to endure, Thaedus, leader of the Coalition of Planets, sought Marvin out.

The two joined forces to design a fighter capable of standing against a Viltrumite, and their work produced Allen the Alien. Even with that formidable strength, however, Allen still fell short of the Empire's soldiers. Marvin allied himself with the Coalition, resettling on Talescria as he continued his stand against the Viltrum Empire.
