Bolt

A blue cape trails from Bolt's shoulders, the boldest touch on an otherwise pale gray suit that clings to his athletic frame. Matching blue runs through his gloves, boots, and raised collar, and a belt fastened with a lightning-shaped buckle ties the theme together.

He keeps his head shaved bald, offset by dark brows and a firm, squared jaw.

Bolt reads as level-headed and dependable, a hero who moves fast when the stakes climb and keeps his attention fixed on the task in front of him. He is practical by nature, quick to size up a threat and coordinate with whoever is beside him rather than grandstand. Once early confusion clears, he cooperates readily, and his willingness to tend wounded bystanders after the fighting reveals a gentler streak under the tough surface. He rarely leads from the front, but his instinct for teamwork and his sense of obligation to others hold steady.

Most of Bruce's earlier life is undocumented. A lightning strike rewired his body and gave him his charge, leaving him with heightened speed, strength, and reflexes, though his raw power still falls short of a Viltrumite's. Afterward he signed on with Capes Inc. He had wanted to call himself Black Samson, but a Guardian already claimed that name, so he settled on Bolt instead. He had clearly built a reputation before Invincible's rise, having done work with the Global Defense Agency in years prior.

When the Invincible War erupts, Bolt joins Kid Thor and Knockout among the first responders. The three mistake the genuine Invincible for one of the murderous doubles and jump him before realizing their error, then unite with him to bring down Movincihawk. The stunned variant revives and escapes, going on to devastate much of New York. Once the conflict ends, Bolt and Throwbolt turn to helping the wounded. He later answers Cecil's summons against Conquest, arriving too late to the fight to find Invincible already victorious and slumped beside Atom Eve, and he attends Rex Splode's funeral.
