Appearance

Ojiro stands around average height or a touch taller, built like an athlete. His hair sits short and swept forward at the front, his eyebrows drawn very thin, and Kira notes that his deep tan makes him stand out, a trait that grows more pronounced in his later scenes. What defines him most are his ruined fingers, which he bit down to the second knuckle amid the anguish Kira put him through.

He first turns up in a bowtie shirt with a jacket and gloves, every piece marked by his Stand's Q-shaped emblem. Afterward he tends to go bare-chested under a puffy jacket, sporting that same symbol as a chest tattoo, prosthetic fingertips, and cross-shaped marks worked into his hair.

Personality

For all his easy grin, Ojiro is a cruel and villainous man who takes real pride in calling surfing his trade. He once used his Stand to torment a woman who accepted a beach outing with him, and he privately reasons that his power could let him kill and never be caught. Revenge drives him: the loss of his fingertips at Kira's needling festers into a plot to frame the man as a kidnapper and rapist.

Later he cheerfully robs and tries to murder Tsurugi and Jobin to claim the Locacaca, showing no flicker of remorse. Oddly, even after all his scheming against Kira, he still speaks of him as a genuine friend and feels owed a share of the fruit through that bond.

History

Ojiro's Stand, Fun Fun Fun, lets him puppet the body of whoever he is positioned above. The power surfaced in his childhood, and the home he grew up in was flattened by the earthquake that raised one of the Wall Eyes.

As an adult he was drowning a woman with his Stand at the beach when Kira first needled him about whether a surfer belongs to the sea or the land. Kira pressed the same question again at a portside ramen shop, then planted an explosive bubble in his face to chase him off. Eventually the taunting pushed Ojiro, while drunk, into eating all ten of his own fingers to prove his manhood.

Swearing revenge, he rigged Kira's apartment with traps and planted albums of bound women there to incriminate anyone tied to the man. He mistook Josuke for Kira and attacked, realized his error once beaten, explained his grudge, and was knocked out. He resurfaces much later in a jacuzzi beside his wealthy girlfriend Makorin, quietly skimming cash from her purse as she rants about failing to grab the Higashikata land. Sensing opportunity in talk of equivalent exchange, he marks Tsurugi with Fun Fun Fun, uncovers Jobin's dealings with Tamaki Damo, and steals the Locacaca after seizing control of Tsurugi and Jobin. Believing he got away clean, he is undone when Jobin, aided by an illusion from Paper Moon King, sets Speed King on him and boils his blood vessels, then trails him to the condo and drowns him, with Makorin soon meeting the same end.
