Minotaurus

Character

One eye, two horns, and a very short career. Minotaurus is an E-rank villain swept up with roughly seventy others for the League of Villains' attack on the U.S.J., where he learned twice over what a Pro Hero looks like at close range and went to prison for the trouble.

Quirk: Bull Head
Status: Imprisoned
Occupation: Villain
Gender: Male
First Appearance (Manga): Chapter 18
First Appearance (Anime): Episode 10: Encounter with the Unknown
Agency & Affiliations: League of Villains

Appearance

Bluish skin covers a hulking frame. A lone red eye sits mid-face, cyclops fashion, and a heavy horn grows from either side of his skull. He dresses in sleeveless black, with grayish brown pants and a broad white belt slung across the body.

The anime altered him between appearances. The first put him in a black fur coat, his horns sweeping backward and banded in metal; the second stripped him to a torn black shirt, the horns now curving forward and left bare.

Personality

Little of him is established. Supplementary material paints him as short-tempered and prone to violence, though the anime shows him losing his nerve entirely once someone genuinely powerful walks into the room.

History

Tomura Shigaraki recruited roughly seventy villains for the raid on the Unforeseen Simulation Joint, and Minotaurus was among them, which makes him a minor antagonist of that arc. The plan was to kill All Might. With All Might absent, the mob turned on the students instead. Eraser Head stepped up alone to buy the class time to escape, and Minotaurus watched in surprise as the hero dismantled several of his colleagues in the opening minutes.

The fight tilted back toward the villains until All Might arrived. Minotaurus and the others around him froze at the sight, and All Might flattened the group before any of them could act. Arrest followed for him and every other recruit.

His Quirk, Bull Head, amounts to the pair of horns on his skull, and his fighting is straightforward melee. The villain name appears only in My Hero Academia: The Strongest Hero, borrowed from the Minotaur of Greek myth, whose Latin name he carries.
