The Bangkok Arc is the seventh story arc of Sakamoto Days, told across a short run of chapters. Sakamoto and his allies follow the trail to Bangkok, the home base of X's Organization, while Slur quietly gathers the forces he needs for the next stage of his plan.
This is the seventh story arc of the Sakamoto Days series, a compact stretch running from chapter 121 to chapter 130 across volumes 14 and 15. It takes the cast abroad to Thailand in pursuit of the enemy's stronghold, unfolding as Slur continues assembling allies for the larger operation still ahead.
Chasing the conflict overseas, Sakamoto and his companions travel to Bangkok, where the base of X's Organization lies. There the group clashes with the enemy's ranks throughout the city while Slur works behind the scenes to draw fresh allies into his growing plan.
The fighting spreads across several matchups, pitting Gaku and later Kashima against Kumanomi, throwing Heisuke together with Hyo against both a thief and Kumanomi, and eventually massing Sakamoto, Shin, Amane, and their allies against the formidable Kashima.
The trip yields hard losses and fresh revelations. Hyo is slain by Kumanomi, though the fight costs her a left arm, and both Kumanomi and Haruma are fully brought into the story. Yotsumura passes word to Nagumo that Rion was the one who placed the bounty on Sakamoto, and Uzuki's second self is confirmed to be that same Rion.
By the arc's close, Uzuki and Kanaguri slip away with Akira in tow, while Sakamoto's group manages to seize Kashima, setting up the confrontation to come in the Assassin Exhibition of the Century Arc.
