Overview
Douglas Bullet is the eater of this non-canon Paramecia, which English releases dub the Clank-Clank Fruit. Its power lets him mentally take objects apart and put them back together as anything he wants, earning him the label Assimilation Human. The name springs from gashagasha, a Japanese onomatopoeia for metal pieces rattling noisily against each other. Its debut came in the film One Piece: Stampede. In fruit form it is a rounded, blue specimen speckled with bumps in shapes from circles to hexagons, every one bearing a spiral.
Mechanics
Through this power Bullet builds sprawling mechanical structures and craft, submarines and robotic suits among them, that swell his combat and mobility. Like every Devil Fruit, it can reach an awakened tier, which stretches his disassembly reach far wider and lets him break down and rework the surrounding terrain itself. Using the fruit well takes exact mechanical know-how, since the wielder must grasp precisely what he is constructing. It carries a feedback danger too: severe harm to the apparatus he has merged with wounds him in turn, seen when a nosebleed struck him once his island-sized golem was smashed apart, and when blood came up from his throat as Usopp's attack shredded his mech. Bullet can also shift into a heightened state that fuses his ability with Armament Haki, his frame glowing blue with red eyes much like Luffy's Gear 4, further sharpening his strength, speed, and offense. His named techniques include Union Armado, which merges his weapon-packed submarine into a giant piloted mech; Ultimate Faust, a Haki-clad punch from his island-scale golem that once cleaved Delta Island into pieces; and Det Sterkeste Strike, a rapid flurry of blows thrown in his powered form. Otherwise the standard Devil Fruit weaknesses hold.
