Belonging to the Paramecia class, this ability equips its holder to jail opponents inside iron-like bindings that sprout directly from the body. Hina, an officer of the Marines, is the one who ate it. Its Japanese root ori translates to cage, and the fruit answers to a couple of different English names: the Viz manga prints it as the Bind-Bind Fruit, while the localizations from 4Kids and Funimation both settle on Cage-Cage Fruit.

Whenever the user lays a hand on whatever they mean to lock down, the limb making contact twists into a metal cuff that snaps shut around the target, and afterward the warped part grows back whole. So far nobody has slipped free of these bindings, leaving it unclear whether breaking loose is even achievable. More than one thing can be shackled at a time, letting the user pin a captive against nearby surroundings, and the holder can also produce pliable metal bars that mimic the body, snaking around and holding fast to anything they meet. Those bars lengthen the user's reach and can rope off a whole zone to trap a crowd, which is what Hina tried on Luffy back at Marineford. The catch is that these sweeping, long-distance tricks can inadvertently snare her own allies and stop them cold. Otherwise the fruit brings only the customary Devil Fruit frailties. Her hallmark technique, Awase Baori, fences in a space with bars springing from her arms, then seals the cage shut on all trapped within.

Hina alone holds the fruit, and she puts it mostly toward pinning down opponents, frequently through her limbs. She might merely catch an enemy who steps through her body, or she might raise an intricate cage to hem in several foes at once. Her mastery of the power is what handed her the epithet Black Cage Hina.
