Shigetaka looks a great deal like the Shigechi of Diamond is Unbreakable, only with the rough edges smoothed away. He keeps a full head of black hair and wears a more conventional face than his spiky, bald original.
Abilities
His Stand, Stray Dog, grants him command over the many stray dogs roaming the town of Morioh, letting him steer the animals to his ends. One of those dogs proves pivotal to the plot when it turns up carrying a severed human hand.

History
Shigetaka surfaces only in the sixth chapter of the novel, set in a Morioh belonging to the thirty-seventh version of the world. After his dog retrieves the cut-off hand, he and his friends trace the nail polish on it to a man named Yoshikage Kira. They come close to cornering the killer, but Kira escapes by swapping his face through Aya Tsuji's Stand, Face/Off, then murders both Tsuji and Shigetaka as a warning.
