Green Day and Oasis, Part 3

A recap replays the opening of the Bucciarati and Secco duel, where Bucciarati, realizing he is overpowered, chooses to fall back. With Cioccolata already dead at Giorno and Mista's hands, Secco chases Bucciarati through Rome and notices the mold has faded. His second voicemail carries Cioccolata's whispered last words: after Sex Pistols revealed that the crew intends to meet a contact inside the Colosseum, the dying doctor orders Secco to head there and seize whatever secret awaits. Grasping that his master is gone, Secco jeers at the corpse's memory, smashes his phone and camera, and admits he only ever obeyed for money and rewards, glad now to claim the prize himself.

Realizing where Secco is bound, Bucciarati plants a zippered pole in a nearby stela, meaning to snap it shut like a trap, but Secco kicks the marker to turn the snare around, nearly beheading him before Sticky Fingers breaks it. The two trade blows across the muddy street, Secco batting away the split pole and kicking Bucciarati through a cafe window. Both then catch a glint from the Colosseum, betraying a watcher inside, a man in a wheelchair holding binoculars, who slips back into the dark. As Secco charges to finish him, Bucciarati vanishes behind a shard of smoked glass.

Spotting a zipper on the ground, Secco understands his foe is tunneling toward the monument and wastes moments assuming the corpse must surface for air before recalling that a dead man never breathes. He plunges underground to prove his own mastery there, liquefying the soil to track sounds and swimming faster than Bucciarati can crawl. When a noise leads him only to a broken pipe, Secco chews and spits stone that hardens into a hail of spikes, skewering the hidden Bucciarati. The watcher, meanwhile, is revealed as Jean Pierre Polnareff, who claimed his Arrow fourteen years earlier while leaving Egypt after Jotaro's fight with DIO; knowing the crew's story, he vows to guard the Arrow and destroy it should Bucciarati fail to reach him.

Pinned by the spikes, Bucciarati deflects those aimed at his head with Sticky Fingers, giving away his position, but he manages to keep moving as his body begins liquefying near Secco and a finger snaps off. Secco's furious punch sends a shockwave that drops a slice of the Colosseum and a car into the earth; closing in, he swings again, and Bucciarati bursts the car's tire so its blast ruins Secco's vital hearing while leaving the deaf-immune corpse unbothered. Disoriented, Secco kicks blindly, surfaces a leg that a passing car crushes, and grabs a random boy as a shield, revealed to be Doppio. When Secco demands a taxi, Bucciarati drives Sticky Fingers through Doppio to strike him and pins his arm to his chest, and the panicking assassin tumbles into the very garbage truck that carried Cioccolata, bound for the incinerator. Doppio, who foresaw it all, calmly notes the two are beaten and steps toward the collapsing, decomposing Bucciarati to end him.

Secco learns of Cioccolata's death, mocks his former master, and races to claim the Colosseum secret for himself.

Bucciarati and Secco battle above and below ground, with Secco skewering the corpse using hardened stone spikes.

The Colosseum watcher is revealed as Jean Pierre Polnareff, guardian of the Arrow.

Bucciarati bursts a tire to deafen Secco and hurls him through the hostage Doppio into the fatal garbage truck, before a decomposing Bucciarati faces Doppio.

The episode adapts the latter half of chapter 563 up through most of chapter 567 and aired on June 1, 2019, as Golden Wind's thirty-second episode and the 145th of the anime. English releases call it Green Tea and Sanctuary, Part 3. The adaptation adds a beat implying Secco falls into the same truck that took Cioccolata's body, a detail the manga leaves ambiguous. Its opening theme is Uragirimono no Requiem and its ending is Modern Crusaders.
