Summary

Haruta Shigemo finds an exhausted Hanami collapsed in an underground cave and moves to finish the curse off, but Mahito intervenes and confirms his mission succeeded. A flashback shows Kenjaku, wearing Geto's body, briefing Mahito, Hanami, and Jogo that Tengen's barrier shifts daily, exists only to conceal rather than protect, and fails against plants. He explains they avoid sealing Gojo so as not to draw attention to the real objective, and warns that Sukuna's vessel is a bomb dangerous to both sides, making kidnapping him a mistake. In the present, Mahito praises Hanami for sounding more like a true cursed spirit.

At Jujutsu High, Ijichi tallies the casualties and confirms Mahito stole the cursed objects. The captured Juzo offers only that a white-haired androgynous monk tricked him into the raid, a figure Gojo claims not to recognize. Gojo deduces the invaders bypassed Tengen's barrier thanks to Hanami's plant nature. Though the principals consider canceling the event, Gojo insists the choice is not theirs to make.

In the healing ward, Yuji and Nobara visit Megumi, who escaped serious harm because his drained energy let Shoko remove the cursed bud. Todo bursts in claiming Yuji as his brother's friend, sending Yuji fleeing. The next day Todo argues persuasively to continue the event, and Gojo drops the individual portion, letting Yuji randomly select baseball as the team game. The match unfolds with squabbles over rules, Noritoshi bonding with Yuji over their reasons for becoming sorcerers, Nobara feuding with Mai, and Todo earning a ball to the face from an annoyed Maki. As the principals reflect on Yuji's potential to save lives and on their own regrets, including Yaga's over Geto, Yuji's home run scores two points and Tokyo wins the thirtieth Goodwill Event.
